Our final senior cheerleader we will recognize this week is Adrionna Serban! Adri has been cheering for 6 years. She plans on attending Kent State University to pursue her academic and cheerleading career with the intent to major in education.

Adrionna is captain of our football, basketball, and competition teams. She is a CCP student, on the honor roll, a student council representative and a part of yearbook club.

Favorite Cheer Memory: Cheering alongside her best friends during Perry’s win against Lake this year.

Advice to Teammates: Take in every moment while on the field, court, or mat.

Senior Year Goal: Place in the top 4 at the Federal League competition.

The next senior we will be highlighting this week is Keira Wright! Keira has been cheering for 6 years. She plans on attending college to study business management and environmental studies on the prelaw track.

Keira is an AP & CCP student. She is president of student council, president of NHS, president of interact club, and president of Spanish club. She also is a part of link crew, the Varsity golf team, and the speech and debate team.

Favorite Cheer Memory: Getting caught in the rain at the Perry vs Central football game last year. She said, “Even though we left soaking wet, it was a game I’ll never forget!”

Advice to Teammates: Make the most of every moment!

This week we are highlighting our 3 amazing seniors in honor of senior week!

First up we have Morgan Leon! Morgan has been cheering since youth camps were available for her age- In her words, it’s been “basically a million years!”

Morgan plans to attend aultman school of nursing and obtain her RN liscense and ultimately become a pediatric nurse!

Favorite Cheer Memory: Sophomore year when Perry cheer made a “reality tv show” and Adri’s line was “if me and Morgan can become friends after the beef we had, you can too”

Advice to Teammates: Have as much fun as you can, don’t let any drama get in the way because it goes by a lot faster than you think!

Senior Year Goal: Achieve all A’s and get into my top college pick!

Introducing our athlete of the month, Ava Steiner!

Ava, a freshman in our program, has quickly made a name for herself at the high school level. She leads as captain of both the freshman football and basketball squads, consistently putting in hard work both in cheer and school. She sets a great example for her teammates, continually motivating and guiding them to do their best. Her dedication and positive attitude never go unnoticed. We are incredibly proud of you, Ava—keep up the great work! 🤍🖤💛
