Congratulations to the St. Rose Baseball Team for completing their season with a "Perfect Record" of 12-0 finishing the season against Holy Family. The boys played with heart, hustle, and humility the entire season and earned a spot at the top.

Thank you to our fans; the students, families, and parish priests who lost their voices cheering for us. An extra special thank you and acknowledgment to the St. Rose of Lima School - Massapequa Principal Mr. Brian Jensen for his unwavering support for Catholic Middle School Sports, and all his behind the scenes efforts to get our boys on the field, you made this season possible.

It was a phenomenal year and closing out the season in this fashion will create lifelong memories these boys will always be able to share with each other.

Final Score: St. Rose 11, Holy Family 0

A game that will be remembered as "The Battle at Rockville Center", a range of emotions ended with a victory for the St. Rose boys of summer over St. Agnes 3-2. St. Rose ace Tyler Mazurkiewicz took the hill and with solid defense behind him kept the game tight, as this game became a pitching duel. St. Agnes scored first making it 1-0 in the B/1st, where the score remained until SROL put up 2 runs in the T/4th inning. St. Agnes tied it up in the B/4th to make it 2-2. The 5th inning got speedy Jack Ashby on base, where heads up baserunning allowed him to cross the dish making it 3-2 T/5th. Jack Ashby came into relieve, and the scored remained through the 6th inning where the boys made three rock solid defensive plays to keep the score 3-2 through 6. The bottom of the 7th inning had runner in scoring position for STA with 1 out and after a strikeout the tying run for St. Agnes advanced and was standing 90' away. After a pitcher/batter duel, Ashby got the batter to pop out for the third out securing St. Rose's 3-2 victory and extending their winning streak to 8. More action on Monday against St. Martin's and PART II on Wednesday home against St. Agnes.

Final Score - SROL 3, STA 2

J. Ashby (SV): 2 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 K
