Our season came to an end this weekend at the Kings Island Tournament in Cincinnati and what a great season it was! The U10 Lions placed 2nd twice in two state tournaments (Nations and USSSA) and reached the semifinals in the Grove City Memorial Tournament. Great accomplishments, Lions!!
I would like to thank coaches Jason Henry, Andy Reed, Doug Navarro, and Tom Tomlinson for all their time and hard work in putting together a very successful season for our U10 Lions. I would also like to thank the parents for your time and commitment in getting the players to and from the ballpark for practices and games. A big thank you to the Burnworths for opening up their house to us for winter batting practices. I would like to thank the baseball moms for their hard work in putting together care packages and photo displays for the ballplayers at tournaments...well done! And I would especially like to thank the players for all their hard work on the field and giving it their best this season. You kids are a great group to coach and I enjoyed every moment on and off the field with you fine, young ballplayers.
This will be the last photo album created this year of our U10 Lions. I want to thank all the parents, relatives, friends, and fans for following our Gahanna U10 page. I hope you enjoyed the 1100+ pictures that were posted on here this year as much as I enjoyed capturing the moments of our great season. Some people ask me why I take so many pictures? I do it for many reasons....I love photography, I love capturing these young players childhood baseball moments, and I do it for the parents, relatives, and fans that can't make it to the games or live too far away to see their loved one play in person.
