KINGS CX NEEDS YOU!

Hey CX Family!

So it is getting to that time of year when we can rejoice in saying ! The Kings CX Team is already in full planning for the 2026 edition. We wanted to quickly jump in though and make you aware of some exciting news. Scott Phillips will be taking over the role of Course Designer / Manager for Kings CX this year from me. Many folks know Scott as a racer but also for his passion and infectious enthusiasm for the sport and this event. Scott has been a huge part of the Kings CX weekend for several years now and is ready to bring his personal touches to continuing the legacy of this amazing event.

On a personal note, as I step away I want to just say "THANK YOU!!" to the whole CX community that has supported me in this journey. Little did we know when we started riding in an abandoned golf course what would be collectively created by this community. From grassroots, to UCI, night races, a visit from the world champ, global live streaming, and mud. Lot's of mud. My goal was always to learn from the GIANTS before me and to hopefully help make the event / courses better each year.

It has been a privilege to be a cog in the massive cassette that has driven this amazing race forward over all the years. The memories and friendships that I have made in this journey are numerous and very dear. Thank you all!

We can feel it… cross is coming.
October 17–18 can’t get here soon enough for Kings CX.

But while we wait, don’t forget—we’ve got crit racing at our venue every spring, and it’s fast and fun.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out and spent their weekend with us — we had fun and hope you did too!
This isn’t our whole crew, but it’s the group that put the final piece of course tape and the last plastic stake into the barn. Thank you everybody, our community is the best. Without all of you we couldn't make Kings CX great.
Now we’ll spend the next few days getting mud out of our teeth, hair, and ears — totally worth it!
