After over 30 years on the water, South Llano River Kayaks is officially retiring as of 31 October, 2025.

We are staying at our place on the river but we intend to travel and to spend more time with our grandkids. We’re grateful for all the friendships, laughter, and memories that we have shared over the years. It’s been an incredible journey serving paddlers and fishermen. We’ll truly miss seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones along the river.

If you need kayaks or a shuttle, please contact Bloody Bucket (432) 296-0831 or Tony’s Kayaks (830) 606-8836, they’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for being part of our story.

Spending a day on the Llano River is about as "Texas" as it gets! Flowing 105 miles through the heart of Texas Hill Country, the Llano is lined with massive boulders and framed by towering limestone bluffs that rise above its crystal-clear waters. Along the way, you’ll find some of the state’s best swimming holes, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. It’s also a favorite for kayaking, tubing, and fishing...especially if you’re hoping to catch Guadalupe bass. Whether you’re paddling, relaxing, or casting a line, the Llano River delivers the kind of rugged beauty Texas is known for.
