Annnnndddd here we are again.

Monday morning.

Time to “get back on track.”

Time to start eating better again.

Time to start tracking again.

Time to start working out again.

Time to undo whatever happened Friday night through Sunday.

Sound familiar?

At some point, you have to realize the problem isn’t that you keep falling off track.

It’s that you’ve gotten REALLY good at restarting and never gotten very good at continuing.

One higher-calorie meal doesn’t require a reset.

A few drinks don’t require a reset.

Missing a workout doesn’t require a reset.

An imperfect Saturday doesn’t require a reset.

You just make the next reasonable decision and KEEP GOING.

Because if every weekend requires a Monday rescue mission, you’re going to spend a huge percentage of your life trying to recover from the same 2-3 days.

Stop practicing the restart.

Start practicing the CONTINUE.

And if you’re tired of constantly trying to figure this s**t out yourself, I can help.

Full-service fitness and nutrition coaching for $1.97/day.

Your nutrition. Your training. Your habits. Your accountability. Your plan.

Eating “healthy” and eating the right amount of food for fat loss are not the same thing.

You can eat plenty of nutritious foods and still consume enough calories to maintain your current weight.

And if your weight hasn’t moved in weeks or months, that matters.

At some point, “I think I eat pretty well” needs to become:

How much am I actually eating?

How many calories am I consuming?

Am I consistently staying within a calorie budget?

Am I getting enough protein?

Am I accurately tracking portions?

Fat loss doesn’t require perfect eating.

It requires a consistent calorie deficit.

If the scale isn’t moving, don’t immediately assume you need a new diet, a harder workout, more cardio, or some supplement.

Start by getting more accurate about what’s actually going into your mouth.

Healthy choices matter.

QUANTITY still matters too.

Want help putting all of this together?

I offer full-service fitness and nutrition coaching for just $1.97/day.

Nutrition targets. Strength training. Habit tracking. Accountability. Regular feedback. Ongoing coaching.

Everyone wants the number on the bathroom scale to change.

But that number is an outcome.

The food scale helps you control one of the biggest inputs.

If fat loss has stalled, “I eat pretty healthy” isn’t enough.

Portion sizes matter.
Cooking oils matter.
Dressings and sauces matter.
Snacks and bites matter.
The difference between 1 serving and 2 servings matters.

You don’t need to weigh every bite of food for the rest of your life.

But spending some time accurately weighing and tracking your food can teach you what portions actually look like and where your calories are really coming from.

You want more control over this scale?

Get more precise with this one.

My online coaching program gives you a calorie budget, protein target, customized strength training, daily accountability, and ongoing coaching for $60/month.

Your standards are showing.

Not your intentions.
Not your goals.
Not what you say you’re going to start doing Monday.

Your standards.

You can say you want to lose 20 pounds, get stronger, have more energy, improve your health or feel better in your clothes.

But what do you consistently accept from yourself?

Skipping workouts because you’re busy.

Eating well for three days, then checking out for three.

Getting 4,000 steps when you know you need more movement.

Staying up too late night after night.

Turning every weekend into an exception.

At some point, those aren’t occasional slip-ups.

They’re the standard you’ve accepted.

And your results will usually meet you there.

You don’t need perfect standards. You need higher ones.

Raise the minimum.

Train even when the workout isn’t perfect.

Make the decent food choice when the ideal one isn’t available.

Get the walk in.

Go to bed.

Stop allowing one bad decision to become an entire bad day.

Do that often enough and your results eventually have no choice but to reflect it.

Want some accountability around those standards?

My online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month. That’s $1.97/day.

Wanting it is easy.

Almost everyone wants to feel better, look better, have more energy, lose some body fat and stay strong as they get older.

But your goals don’t tell me much.

Your average Wednesday does.

What did you eat?

Did you stay within a reasonable calorie budget?

Did you get enough protein?

Did you train?

Did you walk?

Did you get to bed at a reasonable time?

Those ordinary days are where your future health and fitness are being built.

You don’t need every Wednesday to be perfect. You don’t need every meal to be perfect. You don’t need 100% consistency.

But if you say you want something, your routine has to support it often enough to make it happen.

That’s the difference between having a goal and actually pursuing one.

Your goals tell me what you want.

Your habits tell me what you’re willing to do about it.

Need help turning the goal into a plan you can actually execute?

Online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month, just $1.97/day.

This is the part of fitness nobody can sell you in a bottle, supplement, app or 30-day challenge:

Ordinary days.

Tuesday mornings.

Wednesday afternoons.

Random Thursday nights when you’re tired, busy and nobody cares whether you follow through.

Those days build you.

Not the occasional perfect week.

Not the January motivation spree.

Not the two weeks before vacation.

Progress happens when enough normal days start looking like this:

You stay reasonably close to your calorie budget.

You eat enough protein.

You strength train.

You get your cardio.

You move throughout the day.

You prioritize sleep.

Then you wake up and do most of it again.

Nothing heroic.

Nothing extreme.

And definitely not perfect.

Just 80% consistency, repeated long enough for your body to respond.

Wanting better health is easy.

Wanting to lose 20 pounds is easy.

Wanting to get stronger is easy.

The question is whether your ordinary Tuesday actually looks like the life of someone pursuing those things.

Stack enough of those days and eventually the results stop being something you’re chasing.

They become the predictable consequence of how you live.

Need help putting those ordinary days together?

Online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month, about $1.97/day.

Simple plan. Clear expectations. Real coaching.

08/24/2026

It’s Monday.

And if you’re frustrated with the scale this morning, I want you to think about what actually happened over the last seven days.

Not just Monday through Friday.

ALL seven days.

Because your body doesn’t know it’s the weekend.

Calories still count on Saturday.

Drinks still count on Saturday.

The handfuls, bites, appetizers, desserts and meals you didn’t track still count on Sunday.

You can create a calorie deficit Monday through Friday and erase most, or all, of it in two days.

And then Monday morning comes.

The scale jumps.

You get frustrated.

You decide the diet “isn’t working.”

Then you start the exact same cycle again.

Here’s the good news.

You don’t need perfect weekends.

You don’t need to stay home and eat chicken and broccoli while everyone else has a life.

You DO need some boundaries.

Enjoy the dinner.

Have a couple drinks.

Go to the party.

Have dessert.

But stop treating every weekend like you’ve earned 48 hours completely off the plan.

Fat loss isn’t a five-day process.

It’s a seven-day process.

You don’t need to be perfect for seven days.

You need to be consistent enough across all seven that the math still works.

Aim for 80%.

And if every Monday feels like another restart, maybe it’s time to stop restarting and build a plan you can actually live with.

Online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month, about $1.97/day.

Ironically, cheaper than most of the stuff that disappeared from your calorie tracker this weekend. 😂

Saturday is where a lot of Monday’s goals go to die.

Not because there’s anything wrong with going out, eating a great meal, having a few drinks, watching the game, or enjoying yourself.

There isn’t.

The problem is when “loosening up” becomes a 48-hour free-for-all every single weekend.

Friday night becomes Saturday.

Saturday becomes Sunday brunch.

Sunday brunch becomes Sunday night.

Then Monday arrives and you’re frustrated that your weight isn’t moving, your energy sucks, and you feel like you’re constantly starting over.

Here’s the part nobody really wants to hear:

You get to choose your behaviors.

You don’t get to choose what those behaviors produce.

If fat loss is the goal, your weekend calories still count.

If strength is the goal, skipped workouts still count.

If better health is the goal, sleep, alcohol, nutrition and movement still count.

Saturday doesn’t exist outside the other six days.

So enjoy tonight.

Eat something great.

Have the drink.

Go to the party.

Watch the game.

Just understand the difference between enjoying your life and abandoning your standards.

You don’t need seven perfect days.

You need enough good decisions across seven days to keep moving toward what you say you want.

That’s the 80%.

And yes, Saturday counts.

Need help building a fitness lifestyle that actually leaves room for a Saturday night?

Online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month, about $1.97/day.

Cheaper than tonight’s first beer. 😂

Your goals are easy to talk about.

“I want to lose 20 pounds.”

“I want to get stronger.”

“I want more energy.”

“I want to feel better.”

“I want to get in shape.”

Great.

Now show me your average Tuesday.

Because THAT tells me a lot more.

What do you eat when nobody is watching?

Do you train when you’re tired?

Do you walk when you’re busy?

Do you go to bed when you know you should?

Do you track your food when the meal isn’t perfect?

Do you follow the plan when motivation disappears?

Your goals tell me where you’d LIKE to go.

Your habits tell me whether you’re actually headed there.

And this is where a lot of people get frustrated.

They keep changing the goal.

Changing the diet.

Changing the workout.

Looking for another strategy.

When the real problem is that they haven’t consistently executed the basics long enough for ANY strategy to work.

You don’t need perfect habits.

Give me 80%.

Stack enough ordinary days where your actions actually match what you say you want.

That’s where progress comes from.

And if you need help turning the goal in your head into something you can actually execute, my online fitness and nutrition coaching is $60/month, about $1.97/day.

Your goals are free.

Getting your habits to cooperate might cost you $1.97. 😂
