Good Luck Seniors! 💪🏐❤️
An Open Letter to Senior Volleyball Players
Dear Senior Athletes,
This is it.
You’ve spent nearly a decade pouring your heart into this sport, diving for balls, pushing your limits, and fighting through the sweat, bruises, and long practices.
And now, as most of you step onto the court this week, you’re beginning the final sets of competitive volleyball, that you’ll ever play.
For some of you, this game has been your passion since elementary school.
You’ve spent countless hours on the court, with your teammates, and they’ve become family.
The memories you’ve made—the road trips, the hard-won victories, and the late-night talks—these are the things that have shaped you.
And here, in these last few games, you’re faced with the reality that this chapter is coming to an end.
Before each match, look around.
See those faces?
Those are the people who’ve stood by you, cheered for you, and believed in you, even when you doubted yourself.
Take this time to see them, to remember them, and to lock these moments away in your heart forever because this is where forever happens.
As you step onto the court, give everything.
Make every set, every point, and every touch on that ball count.
Let every serve carry the power of your years of dedication.
Leave nothing behind because you owe it to yourself and to your teammates to go out with every ounce of effort you have.
When it’s all said and done, the scoreboard won’t be what matters most.
It will be the moments—the laughter, the camaraderie, the shared passion.
Those memories will last far longer than the game itself.
And when you look back, you’ll remember that you didn’t just play a sport; you lived it, you loved it, and you gave it your all.
So go out there and make this final stretch unforgettable. Take your teammates with you in your heart, and play for everything you’ve built together.
Rooting for you,
Cincinnati Volleyball Academy
