Here is my total honest review of the Gotta Go Gotta Throw gocart, full disclaimer, 1. I am an ambassador for G3T however if I don't like a product i'm not going to endorse it. 2. This was an anniversary gift from my beautiful wife Libby Meckler and yes I am very grateful for it.
So let's start shall we...So imagine this you're playing a charity tournament...your charity tournament and you decide to sit on your cart, because well tournament rounds can be long they can be brutal on old joint and if you're in a particular shape it can be even worse, but wait you sitting to close to the tee box you thought you were far enough away but your just close enough so you try to scoot back a little without trying to get up and you call over your cart and even though you're ok you pick your zuca cart up to find the single bar system that most carts have broke in the middle...Well this exact thing happened to me. I bought this zuca cart 4 years ago off of someone who needed something a bit smaller so $125 later you're the proud owner of one of the best carts in the game. It served me very well over the last 4 years. So fast forward to my anniversary I had a feeling my wife was going to get me a cart, call it a Nerdy hunch of mine...im super hard to shop for, its either disc golf, DnD or Trading Card Games, and out of all of those theres only 1 thing I don't mind if people buy for me because im either going to use it or not. I give my wife her present she tells me to close my eyes she goes and grabs my present I'm actually getting pretty excited, because the weekend before our anniversary I had a particularly long tournament, for those not around the area. Come to Northern Iowa and try Forest City its a 21-hole feast 10 holes of open fairly safe golf and then 11 holes of rough wooded golf. So I open the box and look in I was like ugh what...this isn't a zuca what is it. It was the G3T Gocart this thing looked massive out of the box first thing I noticed out of the box was no bag, ok no issue I can figure that out, I have an innova hero bag that should work right? Next thing I noticed was this thing had a seat...neat it was a full sized seat almost like a ridge roller only difference is this isn't a single bar system it is a fully double bar which doubles as a back rest, oh? That's interestingly new to me I didn't know this was an option in disc golf. so after wrestling with the back rest, it took a little doing trying to get it in the holes...possible pun intended...i started looking over the other features the other thing and I'm still on the fence if I like this or not is these are not foam wheel these are normal aired tires...so what happens if these go flat during a round just try to trudge around with a 1 fully inflated tire, then I thought to myself I have my zuca maybe those tires might work. The next day I tried that just to find that the zuca tires are just ever too small, damn, ok well I'll just have to fight with that demon if it ever presents itself. Now onto the bag. I tried with the Innova hero bag didn't fit right, took the side stability pieces out ok that fit looks pretty ugly but it should work, and I still have 2 working drink holders, go down to the local park and try it out, meh, it works just didn't work the way I wanted it to everything seemed to Josuel around to much, ok thats fine, I did a little research on what type of bag I should be using, came to the conclusion that its definitely a satchel type discgolf bag ok sweet, have one, one that came with my wifes MVP rover cart that she doesn't like to use, COOL! got it affixed to my cart took it out of my car moved it around my garage a bit everything stayed in place hey that's pretty nice. All in All, I don't dislike this cart, it has a ton of storage and seeing that I can also affix a smaller backpack style bag to the back or front, even more storage, sweet, do I really need another 16 discs at my disposal though? I have 24 right now, and really only use maybe 14 maybe 16 depending on course. Would I recommend this over a zuca I would say maybe depends on what your looking for if you want something thats top loading absolutely full send it, its going to be about the same price as a zuca and it is backed by Scott Stokely, but remember unlike a Zuca you're going to want to use a satchel style disc golf bag not a backpack. Is this a better value than a ridgeRoller at $300 cheaper and a more comfortable sit absolutely. Time will tell if I keep this cart or I just buy the part that broke on my zuca and go back to that but for now the G3T Gocart has a very nerdy backer.
