Greetings friends of UEE and Mid States!
In the wake of the unfortunate cancelation of Maffit Lake and Minnesota Harvest shows we wanted to reach out and inquire about interest in UEE adding a show in October at Quail Run.

Help us keep quality shows available and accessible in the Midwest and let us know if this is something you could attend.

The North Iowa Events Center is not available during this time so the plan would be to hold this event at the Quail Run Horse Centre in Omaha, NE.

Before we jump through the necessary hoops of making this happen we wanted to gather an idea of what attendance might look like. Please contact Dan Urban directly with your thoughts either for or against at 619-820-3802 or [email protected].

Greetings friends!
We are just 1 week away from the Mid States Fall show!
September 10-14, 2025.

Lots of exciting things will be taking place during the show!
1) USHJA Zone 6 Horse of the Year Championship! Earn double year end points and compete for some excellent awards.

2) Adequan exhibitor's party on Friday during the Mid States Hunter Pairs Classic. The Equine National Sales Manager, Mr. Tim Burress, will be joining us on site, and we will have a Q & A session with him about Adequan and it's amazing benefits. All the while watching the costume class fun!

3) Prestige Starter Prix Final! During the 2025 UEE & Mid States seasons folks have had a chance to earn points in our Prestige Starter Prix classes and the high point winner will receive a Prestige Roma! Join us for the final class of the season on Saturday!

4) Saturday before the Prix we will have a Q & A session as well as a chance to walk the course with USEF Course Designer, and friend, Janine Weatherby. This experience is brought to you by the MHJA.

Flashback Friday: To last week and the exciting conclusion to the 2024 Mid States Season!

It was great to see everyone back at the North Iowa Fair & Events Center for our final show of the year. The weather was great, but the company of our favorite 2-legged and 4-legged friends was better!

Some highlights include:

FRIDAY: Our very popular Mid States Hunter Pairs Classic saw 13 teams enter the arena for this fun filled class. The costumes this year were great and in the end we crowned our winning team, "A Work of Art". The team was comprised of Anne Steeves aboard her own "Eubala", and Kaylyn Cody riding "As Luck Would Have It". The team put down the top score for the win, and to top it all off they won the award for the best costume. The best costume award was brought to us by
SmartPak. Both riders won a $50 gift card to SmartPak.

SATURDAY: Our first feature event of the day was our $1,000 Prestige Starter Prix Final. This class was the final leg of Prestige Starter Prix series held at all Urban Equine Events and Mid States Horse Shows this year. Points were tracked for all these classes held this year and the person with the highest points would receive a Prestige Saddle! The winner of the class was Charlotte Husten and "Curious George". However, the leading horse and rider combination for the series, and the winner of a Prestige Roma was Matilda Gibson and her own "Campari".

The action continued that day with the $15,000 Mid States Memorial Grand Prix. 10 entries tackled the course designed by Janine Weatherby, producing 3 clear rounds proceeding to the Jump Off. In the end the win went to Dan Urban aboard Emellar Stables' "Eternity Du Seigneur! Andrea Klinefelter and her "Jumper" were 2nd, and Emellar Stables' "Qatar" claimed 3rd.

Congratulations to all the competitors at the Mid States Fall Show!
We are so grateful that we get to enjoy our horses with all of you! We wish you luck for the winter season and look forward to seeing you all back next year!

Today we kicked off the Mid States Fall Show!
It marks the conclusion of the 2024 Mid States Season, and we are thrilled to play host to the 2024 Zone 6 Horse of the Year Championship!

Additionally, we are VERY EXCITED to crown the first winner of the Urban Equine Events and Mid States Horse Shows PRESTIGE STARTER PRIX!!

During the 2024 Show Season all Urban Equine Events and Mid States Horse Shows competitions held our $1,000 - .85m or .90m Prestige Starter Prix. We calculated points for each one of these classes held and the highest points winner from the series wins a Prestige Roma Saddle!

The competition will be intense, and someone will be our big Winner!
