Miguel "The Showstopper ’’ Ortiz Originally from Puerto Rico, Ortiz came to the United States and continued on with his amateur carrier. Ortiz was a 2x Gleason’s Gym Champion at 152 pounds.

Welterweight Miguel “The Punisher” Ortiz of Springfield, Massachusetts started his pro debut on 9-16-2016 at Twin River Casino against Marques Bates who also made his pro debut that night. Ortiz’s amateur record consists of 57 wins and 14 losses. Placed 3rd in the National championship in Oxnard, California. Was the New England Champion at 140. Won the Connecticut Tournament at 152 and won a local title in Springfield, Massachusetts. Ortiz is currently signed with VMS Management.
