The club meets at the Leu Civic Center in Mascoutah on Tuesday and Thursday weekly from 6-7p.m.

Just a quick reminder to all that Saturday classes are confirmed at Song’s. The 9:00-10:30 class is for Red belts and above to help prepare for Black belt testing and focus on higher forms. The 10:30-11:30 class is open to all ranks and will be run as a normal class. I encourage all to come and participate and get to know the students and instructor from our sister school.

Great job testing last night and all I can say is WOW! I can’t remember having 8 testers breaking bricks in a single testing and all making it through the challenge. Presentation of belts, uniforms and new weapons for training will be Thursday with our photos being taken between classes. I am saddened to pass on that a true Martial Arts legend has passed. Yesterday, 19 March 2026, Chuck Norris passed at 86. Many know him for his acting career but many don’t know he served in the US Air Force for 9 years and was stationed in Korea where he earned his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. When he came back to the US he taught these skills to many and is credited with the popularization of Tae Kwon Do in the us in the late 60’s and early 70’s.

Please take a moment to think about the shoulders we stand on today as TKD practitioners and the legacy we are carrying on. Thank you Chuck and rest in peace, we have the watch.
