Well… “I-75 INSANITY” definitely lived up to its name

Round 1 of the Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Presented by Longhorn Chassis at I-75 Raceway was one for the books with 42 of the best crate late models in the region signed in for battle.

To say the track conditions were challenging would be an understatement. By feature time, the place resembled a Saturday afternoon at Loretta Lynn's Ranch more than a racetrack — complete with whoop sections, table tops, and enough rough spots to test every nut, bolt, and driver in the field

The night started off pretty lackluster for the #0 MWR machine. We struggled to get going in hot laps, ending up 26th overall and 12th in Group B qualifying, which slotted us 6th in Heat Race #4.

From there, we were able to make some improvements and drive forward to a 3rd place heat race finish, giving us the 12th starting spot for the 30-lap main event.

At the end of the night, survival was half the battle, and we’re proud to say our Longhorn Chassis fought through the chaos to bring home an 8th place finish and salvage a solid points night to kick off the championship chase 💪🏁

Not exactly the night we wanted… but on nights like this, minimizing damage and staying in the hunt matters most.

Now our focus shifts to THIS SATURDAY, 5/16, as we head to Wartburg Speedway for Round 2 of the championship battle.

Last year’s event at Wartburg saw the #0 car leading the majority of the race before our night ended early with a right rear flat tire. We’re looking for redemption this weekend 👊

This Saturday, May 9th, we roll into I-75 Raceway ready to kick off our charge in the Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Presented by Longhorn Chassis points battle 🏁

After a couple rainouts… we’re hoping third time’s the charm for Mother Nature 🤞 because we are MORE than ready to turn the #0 MWR Longhorn Chassis loose.

Unfortunately Mother Nature wins again for this weekends plan. We will sit idle in preparation for the May 9th event at I-75 Raceway

Due to incoming storms, this Saturday’s Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Presented by Longhorn Chassis event at Smoky Mountain Speedway has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be announced at a later time.

Smoky Mountain Speedway’s next scheduled event will take place on May 2.

The series will now shift focus to the next event on May 9 at I-75 Raceway.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and look forward to seeing you at the track. 🏁

Unfortunately Mother Nature has taken the win tonight. We will make preparations for next week’s Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Presented by Longhorn Chassis event at Smoky Mountain Speedway

Due to the weather forecast, the Best Plumber 604 Racing Series Presented by Longhorn Chassis race for today at Wartburg Speedway has been postponed.

The event will be rescheduled for May 16!

We will see everyone next Saturday, April 25 at Smoky Mountain Speedway!

Some nights just hit a little different.

Tonight may not be the biggest win of my career, but it’s one I’ll never forget. Picking up my first win at Smoky Mountain Speedway — a place where we’ve had the speed for years but just couldn’t seem to put it all together — makes this one special. Everything finally went our way, and to lead all 20 laps against a STACKED weekly field that felt like a Best Plumber 604 Series warmup… that’s something I’m really proud of.

I can’t say thank you enough to my family for always guiding me, pushing me, and standing behind me through it all.

This one was laid on my heart to dedicate to our friend and fellow competitor, Tyler Price Racing. We’re all praying for a quick recovery and can’t wait to see Tyler back where he belongs — in a racecar, trading sliders.

I guess you could say we doubled up this weekend… Harper made it 3 for 3 in her Jr. Champ kart with another win last night at Buffalo Creek Raceway . Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it.
