A true hometown guy, Coach Morris is a 2003 graduate of Seymour High School and has spent his entire life in the local community. He brings blue-collar toughness, loyalty, and a servant mindset to our program.

Coach Morris lettered in football, wrestling, and track & field, building the kind of multi-sport grit we value in our players. For the past 10 years, he has poured into young athletes through youth sports coaching and mentoring, helping develop the next generation the right way.

He’s also a proud husband and father of three, and we know family values will be a major asset to our locker room culture.

Coach Morris is one of us. Tough, hardworking, and committed to kids. We’re fired up to have him in the building. Welcome to the Mountains.

Coach Eric Penson is a Knoxville native and former Austin-East High School player. He has coached at multiple levels, including Defensive Coordinator roles with the Knoxville Knighthawks and youth programs across East Tennessee. He currently serves as Co-Founder and Defensive Coordinator of UNDERRATED Travel Football & 7v7.

Welcome to the family, Coach Patrick! 💪

A Knoxville native, Patrick played four years of Division I football on the offensive line at the Virginia Military Institute, bringing toughness and discipline to everything he does. He comes to us with 8 years of experience coaching the offensive line at Farragut, where he’s developed physical, disciplined units up front.

Off the field, Patrick has been married to his wife Bailey for 5 years, and they’re expecting their first child this May—an exciting new chapter for their family!

We’re fired up to have him leading our offensive line. Let’s get to work! 🏈

Coach Thomas Doucette brings 45+ years of coaching experience to the Mountaineers. His background includes stops at Rutgers, Temple, and with the Philadelphia Eagles, along with key roles in the Knoxville area at Knoxville Catholic and Farragut. A versatile coach with experience on both sides of the ball, Doucette is dedicated to developing tough, disciplined, and accountable student-athletes.
