This sums up yesterdays first game!!!!!!!

Not everyday do you win championships. Not every day do you walk away from the field with a ring or a Trophy. There are people all over this world from pro ball to t-ball learning from mistakes.

At 12 years old this game should be fun, enjoyable, exciting. In order to do that most of the time it feels better to come home victorious. Right!!!!

BUT, if you lose a game and come home with the right attitude, analyze where we errored, put in the work.

Then you yourself and your team have won.

Abbey Miller you had a great day on first base
Ralyn Wilson you had incredible batt all day
Blakely Merritt great plays at short at the right time
Briley Blankeship big hits when we needed them
Hayleigh LaBarge rock solid behind the plate
Journi Zimprich pitched a wonderful game
Kindall Hair pitched a great game as well
Aubrey McAmis you batted over 500 all day Solid
Jamie Black-Le Tourneau your bat and on base
percentage is showing much improvements.
Cloe Hutsell you got comfortable as the day went
On and realized it’s Just Softball. Hit some
Hard shots late in the day.

NOW let’s go put in the work, learn from our mistakes, polish on what we are doing right.
And CONTINUE to be the WINNERS that we are.

Yesterday was a busy day at the ball field. Unfortunately I do not have a single picture.

Our 12U team hit the field for the first time this year. They showed up to play but were rusty. I can say that the coaches and players have bright futures. They need to gel a little and go back to having fun.
The first one as a collective group is hard.
As always there were some amazing plays and things to grow on. Looking forward to seeing where they go!!!!!

Well, the 10U Disciples won their first two games to claim the number 1 seed in the Gold Bracket.
They advanced on to the single elimination bracket play to lose to the very talented Magic. I’ll go out there and say I have seen much better ball played by these girls. They are still number 1 in my heart. Unlike the last tournament yesterday was not our day.

Life is about winning and losing. We all have won and lost at some point. How do you pick yourself up is important. I know both of these teams will pick themselves up and push on to be champions again.

Some days are just your days.

Tennessee Disciples shook the monkey off their backs last night . After 13 hours at the ballpark they pulled out one of the best comebacks to play some of the best softball I have ever seen out of 10 year olds.
The amazing team Maryville Magic sent us to the losers bracket game 2. These girls battle back to the championship game to face Maryville Magic. A team we have never been able to defeat.
These disciples pulled themselves together and displayed what I would call their best game ever. It was fun to watch those bats come alive and the defense shine. Almost if not flawless.
But most importantly the smiles as they claimed their championship.
At the ring ceremony you see Tennessee Disciples and Maryville Magic. Blount County you should recognize these ladies and be proud that they all represent you in the way they do. Both of these teams are Special. Both teams are made up of some of the most amazing young ladies in Blount County and they are all amazing Athletes.
I’d like to congratulate the 3 ladies holding the ball with their first home runs over the fence.

I’d also like to say, “Journi you had an amazing day on the mound.”
It all starts with God, then relationship building, hard work, never quit attitude, and Dedication. Put those things together with some love for each other and the game it equals SUCCESS!!

These 2012 disciples are amazing by themselves, but are going to be little sisters.

With Coach Nick Roddy at the helm of the ship we are super excited to launch the beginning of our 2010/2011 Tennessee Disciples.

This team is already being assembled. We have a couple spots left to fill. Yes you will travel, play softball, have fun, all while learning skills for softball and life skills used everyday.

These ladies rolled into our Halloween tournament yesterday at 9:00 AM.
They Split pool play. Hats of to Pro Concepts 10U for our only defeat of the day. That set us up for the Silver Bracket.
For 8 hours they painted pumpkins, decorated tents, themselves, trunk or treated, cheered on other teams, played hot potatoe, cards, tag, and so much more.
Finally they walked back onto the field to to show the silver bracket they were there to hit, run, and compete for the win.
At 11:30 PM they brought home the Jewels.
