Yesterday the 2014 MHSAA volleyball season wrapped up with the Class A (Romeo), Class B (North Branch), Class C (Monroe St. Mary's Catholic), and Class D (Battle Creek St. Philip) all being crowned.

So of the 8 losses the Vikings had this year, 2 were to a state champion (Romeo), 3 were to a state Semi Finalist (Notre Dame Prep), and the other 3 were to teams that won their districts (Monroe, Armada, and Chippewa Valley).

Great season Vikings! Can't wait until next year!!!!

Hard to believe that the season is over, but a magical season it was! We were ranked all season climbing as high as #7 and finishing #9. Listed below are just a few more of the amazing things that these girls accomplished:

47-8-1 match record. (The 47 wins is 19th best in program history).
113 games won. (Tied for 15th best in program history)
3 tournaments won on the season.
District Champions.
Defeated 7 teams that won a district titles this year.
4 girls on the Times Herald Top 25 list.
12 match winning streak to start the season.
14 game winning streak with 6 streaks of 10 games or greater.
7-1 Record in deciding games.
1 First team All-American. (First in the history of the program)
1400th win for the program on 10/02/14 against Port Huron High.
Creation of the "Hypenation".
