The results are in from Panhandle Pinettes Summer Series Event #2! 🎉🕹️

Seven ladies joined us today for a three-strike battle that came right down to the end! Melissa and Alex were the final two standing, but our reigning West Virginia Women’s State Champion, Alex Brackett, held on to take the win! 👑

Adria claimed another top-three finish after placing at our first event, and we were so happy to welcome Debra Scott for her very first tournament! Debra also helped capture some fantastic photos of the ladies throughout the afternoon. 💜

Thank you to every woman who came out to play, laugh, cheer one another on and help us continue building this little pinball community. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or have never played in a tournament before, there is absolutely a place for you with the Pinettes.

Our next summer-series event is Saturday, August 8—come flip with us! 💪✨

Round two is coming this Saturday! 💕🎯

Our very first Panhandle Pinettes tournament brought out 8 women for an afternoon of competition, encouragement, laughter…and apparently a little mechanical bull riding afterward. 😂

We also loved having friends, family, and a few very supportive pinball guys come out to cheer everyone on!

Now we’re ready to do it again:

Our first Panhandle Pinettes tournament was a success! 🥰🎉

We had 8 ladies come out to play, and it was so much fun seeing everyone compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy an afternoon of pinball together.

We’re so excited to welcome everyone to the very first Panhandle Pinettes women’s pinball tournament Mountaineer Meat Smokers & MVP Arena ‼️

Whether you’re an experienced player, brand-new to pinball, or simply curious about what we’re building, we’d love to see you. No tournament experience is necessary—we’ll help explain how everything works, and the focus is on having fun, meeting other women, and growing our local pinball community.

✨ A little Panhandle Pinettes glow up! ✨

We’ve refreshed the page a bit and officially created the events for our upcoming Summer Series! 🎉

If you have a chance, please take a look at the events and mark yourself interested or going if you think you may be able to come. It really helps us get a better idea of headcount as we plan.

We’re so excited to build this women’s pinball community here in the Panhandle — a place where players can learn, compete, cheer each other on, and have fun together.

We’re also working on a few fun extras as we go, and we’re hopeful we’ll be able to add some sponsor-supported giveaway prizes along the way. No promises just yet, but we’re trying. 😊

🎉 It’s official — our first Panhandle Pinettes tournament is live on the IFPA site!

Join us Saturday, July 11th at MVP Arena for our first women-focused pinball tournament. Whether you’re brand new, still learning, casually competitive, or already chasing WPPR points, you are welcome here.

This is about more than one tournament — it’s about building a supportive local women’s pinball community where we can play, learn, connect, and cheer each other on.

Meet Alex Brackett, current WV Women’s Pinball Champion.

Alex got into pinball after walking by an arcade with her mom, who wanted to play again for nostalgic reasons. Alex says she started out near the bottom in competition, but kept practicing, improved her skills, and eventually began winning here and there.

Today, pinball is one of her favorite hobbies — and one of the best parts has been the friendships and welcoming community that came with it.

That’s exactly what Panhandle Pinettes is all about: learning the game, building community, and giving more women a reason to step up and play.

All skill levels welcome. First-timers encouraged.
