🇺🇸 MURPH CHALLENGE 🇺🇸

Join us for a special Memorial Day workout! This year’s Murph will be modified to make it accessible for ALL fitness levels! 💪

Instead of completing the workout straight through, we’ll break it into 4 rounds to help participants pace themselves and stay moving strong throughout the workout.

Workout format:
🏃 Run
💪 Pull-ups
🔥 Push-ups
🦵 Air Squats
🏃 Run

Not able to run, do pull-ups, or push-ups? No problem! We’ll have scaled movement options and substitute exercises available so everyone can participate safely and successfully.

Substitutions may include:
✨ TRX Rows instead of pull-ups
✨ DB Chest Press instead of push-ups
✨ Walking or jump rope instead of running
✨ If it’s raining, we’ll substitute jump rope for the runs

Murph is based on a CrossFit “Hero” workout honoring US Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005 while serving his country. 🇺🇸

The workout was originally written to be completed wearing a 14 lb weighted vest, so if you’d like to take on the challenge as written and you have a vest, bring it!

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or trying Murph for the first time, this is an incredible opportunity to challenge yourself, support your community, and honor the meaning behind the workout. ❤️

How you treat your body NOW is going to determine your quality of life later. I know so many women in their 50s and 60s that cannot get up off the ground unassisted by themselves- this is not ok! Strength training, flexibility training and balance training are so incredibly important for women especially as we get older!

If you cannot find motivation to workout, let this be it!!!

There was a moment during Savasana today where the room felt incredibly still—a deep, heavy kind of peace. It wasn’t until after class that I learned this group was made up of ER nurses. 🩺✨

​Knowing the chaos and intensity they face every day made that 10 minutes of silence feel even more sacred. I’m so incredibly grateful I could provide a space for these heroes to trade their scrubs for silks, let loose, and finally just... breathe. Thank you for all you do, and thank you for trusting me with your rest. 🧘🏼‍♀️💙

There’s just something really special about working out in an all women’s fitness studio. 💗

It’s a space where you can show up exactly as you are — no pressure, no intimidation, no judgment. Just women encouraging women, cheering each other on, and getting stronger together.
