Half Halt Farms offers 3 arenas: a covered indoor ring, an outdoor jumping stadium, and an full outdoor dressage court. We also have a 50-acre galloping track with hills for conditioning, complete with cross-country fences. Access to miles of trails in Briones National Park is close by. We offer daily turnout for all of our horses as part of board, which includes three meals per day, blanketing, a
nd graining service. Heidi Riddle is a successful trainer, instructor and competitor who owns and operates Half Halt Farms. Her teaching focus includes emphasis on position and movement in harmony with the horse, and her expertise includes musical freestyle choreography and quadrille experience. Heidi has over 30 years of experience competing at the FEI levels in dressage, and through CCI** levels in eventing. She is is a USDF certified 4th level instructor, and holds her Bronze and Silver medals as well as freestyle Bronze and Silver medals. She has taken many of her students to national competitions including the North American Young Rider Competition in dressage and eventing. Heidi emphasizes biomechanics and effective riding skills in her passion for teaching. Heidi is currently accepting horses in both regular and competition training, and also provides coaching at shows. Assistant trainer Janelle Riddle has been riding for over 17 years. In 2006, she represented Area VI eventing at the NAYRC on the CCI** team with her horse Le Spirite. She’s competed through fourth level dressage, and also has experience in hunter jumpers. Janelle specializes in training young and problem horses, and also works with beginning riders.
