Your upper body wants this series 🤎

These 4 moves target your shoulders, rotator cuff, and upper back all while using a ton of core strength & stability. All the areas that can get tight and weak from daily life.

Here’s what we’re working:

1️⃣ Internal Rotation: using the subscapularis (deepest muscle of your rotator cuff) to improve the health and function of important stabilizers for your shoulder joint

2️⃣ Draw the Sword: external rotation keeps those rotator cuff muscles working properly and strong to contribute to healthy shoulder joint function.

3️⃣ Hug a Tree with Rotation: Squeeze the ring and rotate through your thoracic spine. Your pecs, serratus, and obliques all work together here.

4️⃣ Hip Hinge to Overhead Press: Drive through your hips and press forward with control. Total body, functional, athletic (glutes, chest, shoulders, obliques).

The Pilates ring isn’t just for inner thighs 😉
