Bluegrass Volleyball Academy

Bluegrass Volleyball Academy AAU/JVA volleyball club & player development academy proudly serving Eastern Kentucky. We offer travel teams, leagues, camps, and private intruction.

BVA's main facility operates out of Floyd County, KY in the former Piarist School location. $20/hour small group instruction year-round, available to any local player.

$500 club team tuition in Winter/Spring club season for players accepted onto our roster.

Our training platform is special to our club.

It was donated to us by one of our very first BVA dads, who firmly believed in our mission and gave us a "leg up" in our early years.

Each year, handprints of our graduating seniors go onto it. It's peppered with hands from those who built the foundation of who we are and adds new hands of kids who continue lifting us to new heights.

One day, this box will be completely full of handprints from kids who trusted our staff and invested their time, hard work, and love - making this organization more than a volleyball club.

📍 ALL LOCATIONS (Boyd, Letcher, Floyd) will try out at BVA's Main Facility in Floyd County and be drafted to teams from those tryouts.

‼️ ALL 14u-18u TRYOUTS are happening in July for the 2026-27 season ‼️

⚠️ Those who tryout at a fall makeup date may be placed with mixed ages or abilities. We will not be holding roster spots for those trying out in the fall.

🏐 PLEASE NOTE: Practices will not begin until the conclusion of the KHSAA high school volleyball season. We 💙 high school volleyball!

🤩 BONUS: Those who commit and sign a contract in July will be eligible for one group gym session with BVA staff per month at no cost.

If you'd like to be considered for a BVA National team, fill out the form by scanning the QR code or visiting bluegrassvball.com by June 30th.

***Filling out the form does not guarantee an invitation to tryouts. You will be notified if you are placed on a wait list or invited to try out for a Regional team instead.
