"In boxing, you need to be calm under pressure. But you also need immense heart because, one day, being able to dig deep will be your only way out."

- 𝐁𝐨𝐱𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐒𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 - Boxing is a mirror that strips away everything you use to protect yourself. In the ring, image means nothing. Talk means nothing. It shows exactly what you are made of when you are under pressure, when you are tired, when you are hit and have to decide whether to stand or fold.

Every round reflects the truth. How much work you have put in. How focused your mind is. How deep your discipline runs. The ring does not care about excuses. It exposes hesitation. It highlights doubt. But it also reveals courage, grit, and growth.

It is one of the few places in life where who you are cannot be faked. It is raw. It is honest. And it always tells the truth.

The Family released a statement on Foreman’s official Instagram account, saying β€œOur hearts are broken. With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr. who peacefully departed on March 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand and great grandfather, he lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humility, and purpose.

A humanitarian, an Olympian, and two-time heavyweight champion of the world, He was deeply respected β€” a force for good, a man of discipline, and conviction, and a protector of his legacy, fighting tirelessly to preserve his good nameβ€” for his family.

We are grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers, and kindly ask for privacy as we honor the extraordinary life of a man we were blessed to call our own.”

Boxing isn’t just something you doβ€”it’s something you become. Once you step into the ring, it never truly leaves you. The rhythm of the bag, the sting of the gloves, the hunger to improveβ€”it lingers in your bones, in your instincts, in your soul. You might take breaks, you might walk away, but boxing is always there, waiting. Because once you start, you never really finish. The fight is forever.

- Boxing is a way out, a chance to build something from nothing. Every fighter who steps into the ring carries more than gloves; they carry their past, their pain, and their dreams. Boxing reinforces the belief that no matter where you start, you can fight for something better πŸ₯Šβ€οΈ

In both the ring and life, moments of doubt, exhaustion, and frustration can break a boxer’s spirit. This is where a truly dedicated coach becomes essential, someone who sees beyond technique and understands the mental battles every fighter faces.

A skilled coach does more than teach punches and footwork. They instill discipline, resilience, and self-belief. They recognize when a young fighter is struggling, not just physically but mentally. Any trainer can teach the basics, but the best coaches offer something greater. They provide wisdom, encouragement, and the right words at the right time, helping fighters see past immediate setbacks and focus on their long-term growth.

When a young boxer is on the edge of quitting, a great coach steps in not just to push them harder but to remind them of their strength, to support them when they are struggling, and to guide them through adversity in a way that builds both skill and character. They know that boxing is not just about winning fights. It is about overcoming challenges, developing grit, and learning how to rise every time they fall.

The best coaches do not just create champions in the ring. They shape fighters who carry that same resilience into every part of their lives.

'Some trainers Iike to scream and yeII, maybe motivate their fighters that way, but l feeI nobody responds weII to yeIIing.

No one Iikes to be screamed at. So l think l get more out of them by being their friend and being quiet with them. When they come to the corner l have them take a couple of deep breaths so they can caIm down, and then they are going to absorb what l am going to say to them, and l am not going to say too much.

Some guys want to write a book in the corner, but if a fighter can absorb one or two things, that's what l'm Iooking for.'
