Women's Legion Golf Association - WLGA The Women's golf league of The American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown, Iowa.

The WLGA is the women's golf organization at the American Legion Memorial Golf Course in Marshalltown, Iowa. You must join the WLGA to be a member of our group but you do not have to have a membership to The American Legion Memorial Golf Course. Our Ladies day is on Thursday and generally runs from the first Thursday in May to the last Thursday in August.

The WLGA sponsored a 9 hole golf tournament Thursdsy evening. Olympic theme. Leeann Ainley, Paula Weaver, Jacie Collum and Janine Muckler were the committee and they did an outstanding job with decorations, food and prizes. Barb Vovos help with all the food and everything else that needed her attention. Meg Sponseller. Liz Stewart, Kathy Johnstone and Jackie Zimmerman donated prizes and food. Fun evening. Meg made gold, silver and bronze medals.

WLGA Christmas Party was held at Legend's this year
Great time, good food, good service and a great group of gals. We had to shut the door to our party room because it really got loud with laughter. Gifts were exchanged, White Elephant gift. 19 gals joined in on the craft projects, great job Kathy Johnstone.
Liz Stewart had games and prizes for all.
Thanks to everyone for making this a Merry Christmas.
