🥎📲 MSA WEBSITE UPDATE!

We’ve made some updates to the MSA website to make it easier for everyone to find the information they need this fall!

📝 Player Waivers
We’ve updated the Welcome Page to make signing your waiver quicker and easier. All players need to complete the appropriate Adult or Minor Participant Waiver before participating. If you play on multiple teams or in multiple leagues, you only need to complete the waiver once for the current MSA league year.

🔴 NEW COED KICKBALL PAGE
We’ve also added a new page to our website dedicated to Coed Kickball, giving players one place to find everything they need for the season, including schedules, umpire assignments, league rules, waiver information, Kickball Committee information, and more.

🥎🏆 COED END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT THIS FRIDAY! 🏆🥎

Just a reminder that the MSA Coed End of Season Tournament is this Friday, September 4th at the 6th Street Softball Complex!

The bracket is attached below, so make sure your team checks your matchup, game time, and field before Friday.

🍔🥤 And while you’re at the complex, make sure to stop by the Grand Slam Grill for some great food and cold drinks!

Come out, support your favorite team, and help us close out the summer season with a great night of softball! 🥎🏆

🥎 IMPORTANT PLAYMETRICS UPDATE 🥎

As we finish moving everything over to PlayMetrics, we want to clarify one important step for players.

Creating a PlayMetrics account or registering online does not automatically give you full access to your team in the app. Players still need to be assigned to the correct team roster before all team information becomes available.

Once you have been added to your team, you should be able to see game schedules and field assignments, team information, messages and notifications, and roster-related updates.

If you have registered but still cannot see your team information in the PlayMetrics app, please be patient while we finish assigning players to their correct teams.

We have also added a new Handouts page to the website. This is where you can view league packets, rules, and important league information, as well as complete the required waiver for the season.

If you plan on playing during the Fall 2026 season, please make sure you complete your waiver before participating.

Team managers, please help us out by reminding your players to get registered in PlayMetrics and complete their waiver.

LeagueLineup is shutting down today, so moving forward all MSA league information, schedules, waivers, communication, and updates will be handled through PlayMetrics.

It’s almost time! The 2026 MSA Fall Ball season officially gets underway next week, and all schedules have been completed and published.

This fall we have:

🥎 Men’s 14” Softball, Tuesday Nights
⚽ Coed Kickball, Thursday Nights
🥎 Coed Softball, Friday Nights

🥎 IT’S TOURNAMENT DAY! 🥎

The MSA Men’s 14” End of Season Tournament is happening TONIGHT, Tuesday, August 25th! 🏆

We’ve got two divisions battling it out tonight:

🥎 A Division, Single Elimination
🥎 B Division, Single Elimination

⚠️ IMPORTANT BRACKET UPDATE ⚠️

There were a few errors in the previously posted brackets that have now been corrected. Matchups have also been adjusted based on the final league standings and seed positions.

Please make sure you are looking at the UPDATED brackets attached to this post for your correct matchup, game time, and field.

Games start at 6:00 PM, with both division championships scheduled for 9:00 PM! 🏆

📣 Come out tonight and support your favorite team! Whether you’re playing or just coming out to watch, we’d love to see everyone at the complex cheering on the teams as they battle for the A and B Division championships!

🥎 KICKBALL TOURNAMENT IN RHODES! 🥎

Our friends with the Rhodes Engagement Committee reached out to us about their upcoming Kickball Tournament, and we wanted to help spread the word!

📅 Sunday, September 13th
📍 Rhodes City Park, 502 N. Marietta St.
👧 Kids Tournament: Noon
👨 Adult Tournament: Adult teams check in at 3:00 PM, games start after the kids tournament, no earlier than 4:00 PM

We know we have plenty of kickballers in the MSA community, so grab your team and head over to Rhodes for another chance to play! 🙌

Even better, proceeds from the tournament go right back into supporting events in the Rhodes community.

🥎 **TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP FOR FALL BALL!** 🥎

If you’re planning on putting a team together, **today, Saturday, August 22, is your last chance to get registered!**

Here’s what we have coming up:

🥎 **Men’s 14 Inch Softball**
Starts Tuesday, **September 1**
**$295** ($270 team fee + $25 late fee)

⚽ **Coed Kickball**
Starts Thursday, **September 3**
**$125** ($100 team fee + $25 late fee)

🥎 **Coed Softball**
Starts Friday, **September 11**
**$295** ($270 team fee + $25 late fee)

Since today is Saturday, **if you register your team today, you will have until Monday, August 24 to get your registration fee paid.**

Once registration closes and we have all the teams finalized, we’ll start putting together the schedules for each league and get those out to everyone as soon as possible.

🥎 FALL BALL DATE CLARIFICATION 🥎

Just a quick update to clear up some confusion from our Fall Softball post a few days ago.

Our end-of-year tournaments will be played FIRST, and each Fall Ball league will begin the following week.

🏆 MEN’S 14”
🥎 End-of-Year Tournament: Tuesday, August 25
🍂 Fall Ball begins: Tuesday, September 1

🏆 COED
🥎 End-of-Year Tournament: Friday, September 4
🍂 Fall Ball begins: Friday, September 11

The Coed tournament is a week later due to the Ferguson Tournament, which is why the two leagues have different start dates.

We apologize for the confusion in the previous post and appreciate someone reaching out and bringing it to our attention!

We’ve received a lot of feedback, and after taking everything into consideration, we’ve decided to keep Men’s 14 Inch and Coed Softball as separate leagues for Fall Ball!

Here’s the plan:

🥎 Men’s 14 Inch, Tuesday nights
🥎 Coed, Friday nights

We appreciate everyone who voted, commented, messaged us, and shared their thoughts. Friday nights do create some conflicts with football season starting, but after hearing from everyone, we feel keeping the two leagues separate is the best way to move forward this fall.

🏆 END OF YEAR TOURNAMENTS

🥎 Men’s 14 Inch, Tuesday, August 25
🥎 Coed, Friday, September 4

Both tournaments will be single elimination.

The Coed tournament is being held September 4 due to the Ferguson Tournament the previous weekend.

📅 REGISTRATION

Regular registration has ended, but teams can still register through August 22 with an additional $25 late fee.
