What a great day to be a Redhawk! Today 3 varsity bowlers qualified in the Regional Singles Tournament today in Kalamazoo!

Girls: out of 54 girls

Emily Lemon placed 5th

Boys: out of 66 boys

Carter Casarez placed 6th
Ayden George placed 7th

The ladies had 5 of 6 bowlers place in the top 17! The guys had 3 in the top 14.

The lady Redhawks went to Team Regionals to play today! They fought hard and ended second behind Sturgis. The top two teams go to the state tournament so they are State bound! Way to go ladies! Good Luck at State!

Marshall varsity boys took home the conference champ title tonight with a 9-1 season record! High games rolled tonight were Xavier VanDeMoortel 246, Jordan Sneed 240, Aiden George 221. Great job gentlemen!

Seniors last competition night at Marshall Lanes. Both guys and ladies were victorious over Pennfield tonight. High single games went to Jordan Sneed with a 201 for the guys and Emily Lemon with a 187 and MacKenzie Heath with a 186 for the ladies. Way to go Seniors!

Marshall High School Varsity Boys Bowling Victorious over Coldwater 25-5

The Marshall High School bowling team traveled to Midway Lanes in Coldwater for their first conference meet of the season on 1/11/24. The Boys Varsity team walked away with a victory 25-5. Carter Casarez (180, 202), Ayden George (187, 168), and Xavier VanDeMoortel (210,179) led the team with each of them winning 2 singles points. Noah Bowman (176) & Leeland Murphy (148) also scored points in single format. Marshall's overall series was a 1741 to Coldwater’s 1460. Coldwater was able to score by winning one of the baker matches by 1 point and then Marshall turned around and won the second baker game. The Boys JV team was defeated by coldwater 3-27. Trey Phaff, Josh Munson, and Ezra Heyman were each able to score during singles matches.

The Girls Varsity team fell to Coldwater s varsity team 8.5-21.5 Ember Boughton (167,159) led the scoring by winning both singles games for 2 points. Summer Stone (161,172) tied her first game and won her second earning 1.5 points and Zoey Stone (129) won her singles game as well for a point. Both baker games of the meet went to Coldwater which allowed them to secure the win. The Girls JV team also lost to Coldwater 10-20. Sophia Ours was able to win both her singles points followed by Kiera London and Delilah Creighton winning one of their singles games for 1 point each. Marshall was able to win the first baker game 104-80 bringing the overall match closer. Unfortunately they lost the second baker which allowed Coldwater to win.
