What a weekend for Missouri Valley College Bowling! At the Heart of America Conference in Topeka, Kansas, we struggled early out of the gate in qualifying. The team’s resilience that has been displayed all season came into play in a major way in the first round of match play. As the #8 seed Missouri Valley defeated #1 seed William Penn 3-0 in a best of 5 series. In round 2 of matchplay Missouri Valley lost to the tournament winners Grandview, in another clean sweep. Round 3 of match play against Baker University was a nail biter, and a gritty performance from both teams. Missouri Valley lost the series 3-1-1.
We are very proud of our showing in this conference tournament and are excited to build off it and the work we are putting in this offseason.
