It's definitely been quite a while since I have been active on this page, or active in the racing community in general. I (Taz) kind of drifted into a dark (but peaceful and quiet) segment of life for a couple years. I needed time for my body to heal and for my mind and soul to reset I guess, and to pay down some medical expenses.
With that said, plans for 2026..... As time and finances continue to stabilize, we have plans to once again start working on our racing program, or at least begin the rebuild process. Might tinker with the big cars a little bit, but the current plan (for now) is to begin working on a car to compete in some limited shows with the Midwest Compact Touring Dirt Series. If not completed by the end of the 2026 season, we will be ready for 2027. We will possibly run Super Shoe 2026 (Kalamazoo Speedway) and Michigan Cup 2026 (Springport Speedway) if time and finances allow us to do so. My time for racing is limited, as it is nearing time to get my grandson involved in the Mini-Wedge division, to give him his time to grow and shine, and maybe do the one thing that I have never been able to accomplish..... Hold that damn checkered flag, lol.
Hopefully by 2028, we will be able to get back into the street stock divisions and run some random shows. Unfortunately, the cost of racing these days exceeds what most of us can afford, but I would be happy at this point just to be a field filler.
As things move forward, I will definitely post all updates here, and hopefully within time, add a few more cars and drivers to RTMS. Miss you guys, hope to see you at a track soon. Rev Taz out 🤘🏻🏁
