Some exciting news!!! We are now offering In-House Gymnastics clinics, with our first session being Wed, Oct 21– HUME, VA!!
We will be offering 2 basics levels— a Starter to BN group and a BN to N + group.
We love setting exercises that create confident and sure-footed horses, and at least confident riders (I’m not very sure-footed myself 🤷🏻‍♀️). Our exercises change and build to accommodate partners of various levels of comfort and ability, and our teaching aim is to provide positive and correct fundamentals for any level or discipline of over fences work, whether you stay in the show ring or head out into the field to hunt or run XC. All the work is valuable.

Last week we had SO much fun introducing a large group of mostly first timers to horses and riding, courtesy of our amazing schoolmasters: Bourre, Manny, and Dude! This particular group was so athletic and they were such great students, and I mean, Manny, that many were walk, trot, and even experiencing canter all in one afternoon.
I think we got a whole bunch of them hooked!!!

There is a lot of work to be done on a farm, all the time. It’s very easy to get lost in the day to day and forget to look up and out.
And so it’s always awesome to see everything through the eyes of first timers, and those who appreciate the stewardship of the land and animals around us.
What a blessing all of this is.
