Hornets played their first game and got a win. 4-0. Way to go boys!!

First tournament of the season for GDU Rockets. So proud of all the girls. We played some hard teams yesterday and today but held it together. We placed 2 in the bracket. The girls are sore but it’s a great kick off to our season!!

Thank you so much Maximum Technique Soccer Academy, LLC for running the soccer camp at GDU!! A lot of kids reached out and said this was their favorite camp. We appreciate all the work you put in for the 3 day!! Over 50 kids attended the 3 day camp.

GDU Soccer Camp

GDU is partnering with Taila Schluter (Maximum Technique Soccer Academy), and staff, who is located out of McFarland.

Here are the details:

When: August 14th-16th- 6-8pm

Where: GDU Soccer Fields - 4355 Krueger Road, Marshall, WI 53559

Cost: $120.00

Details: Maximum Technique's Summer Skills Clinic heavily focuses on technical and tactical knowledge. Each day will increase the player's technical abilities, as well as their tactical knowledge of the game and how to apply the skills they have learned within it. The final day will brush up on what we have learned/improved upon, and end with a mini tournament. Players will receive a free T-shirt for attending the clinic. This clinic is recommended for players ages 9-14. The younger players will be separated from the older players.

Forward Madison is hosting an event:

On June 25th, we will be hosting our first annual Stuff the Truck charitable event! We would like to invite all of your teams, coaches, players, families, and friends out to watch a Forward Madison FC practice. After the practice, attend a meet and greet/autograph session with the players! Following the autograph session, join Forward Madison FC players, staff, and fans in building snack packs for different non-profits in the Madison community! All while playing soccer, yard games, and enjoying some food and drinks!

Way to go GDU Rockets on an great season. Ended the season with 4 wins- 1 tie and 3 loses. We are so proud of you girls and how much you have grown this season.
