New jersey is fast — camp spots are going even faster!

Less than 3 spots left in MTB 1, 2, and 4. Registration closes one week before each camp, so MTB 1 closes Monday, June 15, and each week after that.

Coach Reid recently won the Knoxville Bike Racing Wednesday Baker Creek race. This is what we mean when we say our coaches walk it like they talk it. We know our stuff and we know how to coach you to progress your riding too!

And that guy in second place? That’s Isaac — a Mars Hill alum. Couldn’t be prouder to share a podium with him. 🙌

Come ride with coaches who are still out there racing and competing at the highest level — and join a community that teaches you skills and gives you experiences that stick with you long after camp ends.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports our scholarship programs.

Because of the generosity of the Jake Hill Rider Development Foundation and the many individuals who contributed to our Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund, several young riders will be attending Mars Hill Cycling Camp this summer who otherwise may not have had the opportunity.

Scholarship recipients have now been notified, and we’re incredibly grateful to the people who made these opportunities possible.

Thank you for investing in the next generation of cyclists and helping make camp accessible to more families.

Access matters. Opportunity matters. Community matters.

If you’d like to help us create even more opportunities for young riders in the future, whether through a small contribution or larger support, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a message to learn more about our scholarship programs.

Riders accepted to Camp 3 can use code 100-OFF through June 14.

This particular session runs July 13–18, and we’re opening a limited Memorial Day Special for this camp only.

Not racing Nationals in Roanoke that week? Come ride with us instead. We think this is a pretty great alternative.

A week spent riding bikes in the mountains with other kids who love it as much as you do? That’s not just a summer camp. It’s a unique experience you’ll always remember.

MTB Camp 3, like all of our camps, is built around inclusivity. Technical trails with A/B lines, skills coaching that meets riders where they’re at, jumping or just learning to jump, long hard double days or dialing it back to soak it all in. Plus creek hangs, waterfalls, picnics, bike and ball and board games, movie nights, and plenty of popcorn, pizza, and ice cream 🍕⛰️

Six days in WNC and there’s a good chance you’ll want to come back. Many of our campers do, year after year. One of the coolest parts of running camp since 2012 has been getting to watch riders grow in confidence, skills, character and friendships over multiple summers.

Riding groups form naturally around riding style, experience, and fitness level, so everyone is challenged without feeling overwhelmed. Some campers show up chasing speed and technical refinement. Others are looking to build confidence and ride trails they never thought they could. All fit here. YOU fit here.

An application is required before registration on BikeReg, so keep that in mind as you plan. Camps regularly sell out as summer gets closer.

Most camps take kids riding.

We believe coaching should go further than that.

Each camper at Mars Hill Cycling Camp is assigned a coach who gets to know them at the beginning of camp — their goals, strengths, challenges, and experience level. Throughout the week, our coaching staff works together to observe every rider both on and off the bike.

Before leaving camp, riders receive individualized written feedback covering areas such as:
• technical skills progression
• fitness and riding habits
• strengths and growth areas
• coachability and teamwork
• recommendations for continued development after camp

We originally developed this process while serving as a USA Cycling Athlete Development Pathway camp, and although it is no longer required, we chose to continue it because we found it incredibly valuable for riders, parents, and coaches alike.

It helps ensure that every camper receives individual attention — and leaves camp with a clearer understanding of how to continue improving long after the week ends.

Because great coaching is about more than just miles ridden.
