Kanopolis Canyons AERC ride

We regret to announce that the Kanopolis Canyons ride scheduled for May 11 and 12, 2024 is cancelled. Time and circumstance did not align this year, however our hope and plans are to continue rides in the future. We will be discontinuing this page and revamping with a new one at some point, so keep an eye out for that. We wish everyone a fun and exciting ride year and hope to see you down the trails of Kanopolis Canyons in the future! Travis Brinck & Erin Glassman

Headed up to Soda Springs! River and Silvy got their baths this morning, they had eaten and drank well overnight.

Charlie and I rode to No Hands Bridge and back last night after dark without glow sticks or headlamps—they did great and were very surefooted! They were also very forward, had nice active walks and could have (and did at times) pop into a trot very easily!

We saw a buck with T least a 10 point tack right up front, and revisited him(or at least his noise) as we came back in the final part of the trail.

The girls and Hannah had a little walk down the end of the trail before it got dark, but we will go again later so they can see what it’s like on the canyons😃

We did get to run up to Robinson yesterday afternoon and take a look around—it was definitely not set up the way it has been in the past due to restrictions from damage from the Mosquito Fire, but we will get it figured out and carry on as always! Kate and Kay and the girls, as well as Lee-Anne and maybe Alanna (more friends) will meet us up there and possibly Hannah and ElKee if they have time.

Everyone will be at Foresthill including Brenda and Tracy where we will get a chance to shower (woohoo!).

A little update here—after a series of technical difficulties, results should be put in with AERC tomorrow. The latest was that I had sent them in a while back but unfortunately to a mailbox that does not get checked frequently 🙄. My apologies!
