James is from Ishpeming. The focal point of his art is rock and ore. โ€œAfter I Retired as a pastor, I have always had an interest in the rocks and geology of this area including the beauty of the rocks in the area. I am a member of the Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club,โ€ says James.

Kim is a Wisconsin-based artist who hand-knits handbags with unique intarsia graphics on them.

โ€œMiss Boobychops began 20 years ago. I had to fly a lot for business, and knitting calmed me down! This grew into a passion. I knitted bags, and taught myself intarsia. I aim to design and knit whimsical and unexpected images onto bags, taking inspiration from everything. 2 years ago we moved to Wisconsin. I love the supportive artist communities here, and have sold work in Ironwood, Duluth and Houghton. This summer I have a bag in the Kohler Art Center in Sheboygan, WI,โ€ says Kim.
