👑 2026 BREAKWATER 5K COURSE RECORD REWARD 👑

Wanna run fast?

Excited to announce that the BREAKWATER 5K Run/Walk presented by Ore Dock Brewing Co. COURSE RECORD REWARD is alive and well, thanks to the generous donation from Kevin Thomsen at Queen City Running Company.

Here’s the fun part:
🔥 We add $100 every year the record stands. Once a new CR is set, we reset the REWARD to $100.
🔥 For men, nobody broke the CR in 2025, so the REWARD for 2026 jumps to $500. Win and set a NEW COURSE RECORD... $500 cash money-homey.
🔥 For women, a NEW CR was set in 2025, meaning the pot goes back down to $100 for 2026.

Sounds easy… but these records are FAST:
🏃‍♂️ Men’s Record: Hunter Jones – 15:05 (2021) (so close in 2024!)
🏃‍♀️ Women’s Record: Jolie Berger – 18:04 (2025)

..remember, 1O SERIES BONUS POINTS for either distance!

That means runners from 23 states (plus international representation) are already making plans to head to Marquette on July 25th for the 6th Annual Queen City Half Marathon.
