You don’t need a perfect program. You need to keep showing up. 💪
A lot of people think getting stronger requires a carefully planned progression for every lift. Add weight every week. Follow the perfect strength cycle. Do everything in exactly the right order.
But that’s not the only way to make progress.
At CrossFit Delaware Valley, we train a variety of movements, rep schemes, and skills. We squat, press, lift, run, and work on our conditioning. And our members continue to set PRs across all of them.
Take Chris Malarick. Six years into his CrossFit journey, he’s still setting personal records. He recently improved his time on Diane, a classic CrossFit benchmark workout, by a full three minutes!
What’s the secret? Consistent attendance, purposeful effort, smart training decisions, and good habits outside the gym.
The members who make the most progress aren’t necessarily the ones chasing the perfect program. They’re the ones who keep showing up and putting in the work.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be consistent.
