Congratulations!

The Hall of Fame Award is the IATA's most prestigious award and recognizes an athletic trainer for their professionalism, dedication, contributions, and longevity in the field of athletic training. The second of the 2026 IATA Hall of Fame Inductees is Matt Munjoy!

Please join us in June at our Annual Meeting to honor and celebrate Matt's amazing achievement and help us thank him for his service to the state of Illinois and the profession of athletic training.

Good Afternoon

The 2026-27 Fall Sports Registration Portal is now open for the following sports.

Middle School
Softball- open to 7th and 8th grade girls
Baseball- open to 7th and 8th grade boys
Cross Country- open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls
Dance- tryouts were done in the spring- those students who are on the team are eligible to register
Cheer- tryouts were done in the spring- those students who are on the team are eligible to register
MS Girls' Basketball- open to 7th and 8th grade girls (if we do not have enough numbers, we will open it to 6th graders- we will notify the 6th graders once we know how many 7th and 8th graders we will have)

High School
Golf- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th boys and girls
Cheerleading- tryouts were done in the spring- those students who are on the team are eligible to register
Trojanettes- tryouts were done in the spring- those students who are on the team are eligible to register
Girls' Tennis- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th
Cross Country- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade boys and girls
Boys' Soccer- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th
Girls' Volleyball- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th
Football- open to 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th boys and girls

All students must be registered, have all fees paid, and have a current physical on file in the MS or HS office by the first day of practice. If any of those items are not completed, they WILL BE HELD OUT OF PRACTICE until completed. Football requires a minimum number of practices before they can compete in a game, so all paperwork and fees must be taken care of by the start of practice.

  Maroa-Forsyth played in a road game at Clinton in their 2A Regional Final and they came away with a 2-1 victory. Cooper Wise knocked in the winning run with a seventh inning single to send Maroa-Forsyth
