It’s getting real, y’all! Athlete registration is now open in Pit Zone.

Coaches, you can begin inviting new and retuning riders to the platform. Parents, if you’re new to the league, reach out to your team director or head coach to learn more about Pit Zone, our online athlete & coach management system.

As the Cheat Mountain Salamanders conclude our 5th season in the WVICL, we are incredibly proud of how far our team has come. This year we welcomed a remarkable 18 student-athletes, supported by 6 dedicated coaches who put in countless hours to help our riders grow in skill, confidence, and passion.
One of our proudest moments came at our second race of the season, where all 18 of our athletes competed—a testament to their commitment and the strength of our program.
With this growth comes increased expenses: travel, equipment, maintenance, and proper nutrition for race day. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our community sponsors. Their support helped ensure that every rider had the opportunity to participate fully and safely throughout the season.

Great weekend in Elkton, MD at the NICA Eastern Regionals. Kids are getting faster every year!

Brynn started it off in the morning with an 11th place finish.
Carter had a good day in a massive field and finished in 83rd.

If you see these kids out give them a congratulations on their accomplishments this weekend and throughout the year.

Poca Trails and Sharc offered a valuable lesson to some of our riders tonight, teaching them about the crucial role of trail maintenance and how to properly care for our trails. We appreciate our riding community passing along the skills to our younger generations!!!!

What a weekend at Big Bear Lake Campgrounds for our second race of the season. We maintained our focus on Sunday's racing despite the rain on Friday and Saturday. As the most technical course on the schedule, our riders consistently excel. Please enjoy the photos and extend kudos to our riders if you see them

Final practice before our race weekend. We organized a time trial to help our riders familiarize and gain confidence for what awaits them Sunday, minus the cowbells.
