Attention parents:
No practice Friday or Saturday this weekend.

 Dear Jean’s Families,

As you may have heard, our beloved Miss Jean, from which Jean’s Gymnastics acquired its name, has passed away. Miss Jean was an amazing woman who has touched the lives of so many and we are forever grateful to her for giving so many children a place to learn, to grow, and to feel seen and heard. We find solace in knowing Miss Jean is resting after such an amazing life. There are few people who get to live their lives as fully as Miss Jean did. In the words of Jackie Robinson, “a life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” Miss Jean truly left an everlasting impact on the lives of all those who were fortunate enough to meet her.

In honor of Miss Jean and her legacy, Jean’s Gymnastics will be closed for all team practices on Friday, October 1, 2021 and Saturday, October 2, 2021, as we want to give all of our instructors, coaches, and families the opportunity to pay their respects to Miss Jean. Many coaches and generations of Jean’s families will be attending this event to honor and celebrate the amazing woman she was.

We want to thank you in advance for your understanding during this heartrending time.

With the competition season beginning, it is time to purchase any leotards and warm-ups that need to be ordered. If you need to purchase a new leotard for the upcoming season, please send an email to [email protected] by Monday, October 4 at 12:00 PM. We will be placing the order on Monday, October 4th so please email if you need a new leotard or warm-ups. Please make the subject of your email: “Competition Attire.” In the email please include:
· Athlete name

· leotard size

· warm-up pant size

· warm-up jacket size.

The price of the competition leotard is $290.
The price of the warm-up jacket is $41
The price of the warm-up leggings is $38

The charge for any and all competition attire will be charge to your card on file on Friday, October 8th.

If you are unsure of the sizing of the leotard or warm-up pants, you can find a size chart here: https://gkelite.azureedge.net/images/static/sizecharts/size-charts-inches-womens-leos.pdf.
We recommend measuring with a cloth measuring tape according to GK’s sizing chart to verify. These are custom orders and cannot be returned.

If you are going to purchase a leotard from another gym family, that is a private sale and you will reach out to them directly. Usually, parents have announced on TeamApp that they are selling a leo that is too small for their athlete now and the sale and pricing is private. Jean’s staff will not facilitate those sales.

If we do not receive an email with the required information by the date stated above, it is to be assumed that your athlete does not need a leo or warm-up.
