Congratulations to the 15 New York natives and the 13 representing New York institutions who qualified for the NCAA tournament in Cleveland.

There are a handful of individuals who will need an at large bid, and those will be announced tomorrow.

MYWC sent 23 wrestlers to the NYS Novice Tournament this weekend. 87 schools throughout NY participated in the tournament. Marlboro finished 7th overall!
Marlboro had several wrestlers finish on the podium (top 3), including 1st place finishers and siblings Landon and Ryan Backofen!
This is a testament to the hardwork, dedication, and determination of the program especially head coach Kenny Stalter.

Our Varsity team sent 7 wrestlers to compete at the D2 Section IX Championships Sunday, 3 wrestlers placed in the top 6 of their weight class and earned All-Section honors!

6th Jason Hudak - 103 lbs
🥈 Lorenzo Caserto - 118 lbs
🥈Thor Huggins- 157 lbs

Lorenzo became a 4x All-Section wrestler!

Thor became a 2x All-Section wrestler !

The Iron Dukes ended up with an impressive top 10 finish in the overall team race!

The modified wrestling team ended the season today at Rondout. Today we went 12-5, winning the quad meet with a total of 56 team points!
These boys work very hard in practice everyday, and the results speak for themselves!

Idaho native Sami Lusk didn’t start wrestling until her senior year of high school. She attended Grand View University in Des Moines before her current role at Wartburg in Waverly, Iowa.
