I’ll give Cross Country and Wrestling the runner’s up awards 🥈

Because you don’t have to find air to do those, but they could get you out of some sticky situations.

Pools close, water doesn’t💁‍♀️

When students complete a full ISR session, that is just the beginning! Maintenance helps hone and keep the them sharp, just like any motor skill activity.

🎹 If you had piano lessons every day for 6 weeks and then didn’t play again for 7 months, you probably would hit a few wrong notes that first time playing again 🎹

Swimming is the same. Which is why I do a parent lesson to show you how to practice with your bug out in the wild and also offer lessons monthly.

You can find the full schedule for maintenance at waterbugswim.com 🐳

Get in the water (or space), and you get taller. I don’t make gravity rules, I just share ‘em 💁‍♀️

Water water everywhere 💦🌎 And yes our earth is covered, but it’s around your house as well. Which is why water safety is all about barriers.

To help keep your little one safer near water, consider creating these barriers at some point:

💧Emptying deep buckets and ice coolers immediately after use.
💧Keeping toilet lids closed.
💧Keeping pet bowls and fountains out of reach the best you can.
💧Installing a fence around your pool with a self-closing and self-latching gate.
💧If able, enclose part of your yard if you live near a pond.
💧Consider door alarm that sounds when someone leaves the house from the door nearest to the water.
💧Be aware of any ponds or high flooding areas in and around your property
💧When at a vacation rental home, scope out the property and be aware of possible entries into different water features

And finally:
💧Getting your little ones self-rescuing swim skills

You can start the lesson journey by messaging/commenting “Swim“ and I’ll send you the link to my email list to receive my 2027 lesson schedule.
