The junior and senior high lady Indians had their final play day of the summer. Junior High lost 2 close games to Cross County and Ouachita. The junior girls played hard and gave good effort today. The senior girls lost to a good Cross County team by 10 and then bounced back to beat Ouachita by 25 the next game. The girls worked hard this summer and made progress from the end of May until now!!!

OAN: The SR girls went 16-4 this summer.

Marked Tree Lady Indians had 3 days of basketball camp this week and went 6-3 against some really good competition. We will host a play day Tuesday starting at 9 against Cross County and Ouachita. This would be a good chance to get a early look at the girls before school starts.

Marked Tree Lady Indians went to Tuckerman today for 2 games against Cave City and Clinton. Was short a couple of players but grinded out 2 wins. The Lady's beat Cave City 31-13! They got off to a hot start and played solid defense to get the win. In the Clinton game, the girls trailed the whole game but kept fighting and played solid defense to win on a buzzer be**er by Lakrissaa Dupree. The girls have 2 more days of practice this week and will be at Sloan Hendrix next Monday and Tuesday, then Barton next Thursday.

Marked Tree Lady Indians finished 3 days of camp today with good energy and effort. The girls progressed as the week went by! We seen some good stuff and stuff we got to clean up. The girls finished this week 7-0 and will be off until July 6 after dead period.

Basketball practice from now until June 19 will be JR High 3:30 to 5:00 Monday-Thursday. SR High 5:00 to 6:45. Monday-Thursday and Friday 3:30 to 4:45. Camp dates are June 18-19 at Ridgefield Christian, July 8-9 at Tuckerman, July 13-14 at Sloan Hendrix, July 16 at Barton, and July 21 at Cross County. All practices will be at the game gym.

Attention 2026-2027 Lady Indians: Next week, Jr. High (this includes incoming 7th grade girls as well!) will practice at the high school gym from 3:30- 500 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Sr. High will practice from 5 to 6:45 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Sr High will also practice on Friday from 3:30 to 5:00. Please share.
