Weekend race recap Friday Cj took the number 34 down to The Douglas county Dirt for the Oscra race went 16th fastest out of 22 cars didn’t do to hot in the heat race finishing 8th in a very fast heat race but figured more out on the number 34. Went out for the main and car was doing fine up until lap 9 when the car made a load pop (car over headed and pretty sure broke a rocker arm) and started loosing speed. Cj came home with the 17th spot. Saturday night Greg headed up to banks to race the number 32v for SRC Motorsports with a 5th place finish in his heat and then a 10th place finish in the main after a hard fight to pass a couple cars. With both the 32v and the 34 cars running both Greg And Cj will be on the track for the first time together. Let’s make this a great day for racing bring out your hornets, sport compacts,open 4 cylinders OCDRA is doing great things to help out.

We want to thank Mike with OSCRA (Oregon Sport Compact Racing Alliance) for their help in enticing drivers to experience the Banks Bullring this Saturday night.

On a weekend with most surrounding tracks off in the division, there is no time better than now to drive out to Banks.

With their contribution the July 18 Main Event in the Ravens Hauling Open 4cyl will now pay;
12+ cars $400 to win,
And he’s put up a challenge to reach 20+ cars. If we reach 20 cars it will pay $500 to win.

Since there is only 1 track racing hornets on the 18th, I'd like to invite everyone to Sunset Speedway up in Banks Oregon. As long as we hit 12 cars its set to be $300 basically double pay out.. Let's pack the track with 4 cylinders! The track is smaller an technical but still enough room for us to pass an have alot of fun ! We'll have the 32v and the 34 cars out there ourselves, come out an enjoy the fun !! Also, if you have a street stock they are running the jims 100 for them with a significant payout ! Also no registration cost unless you want to race 3 or more times .The pay out has been boosted up to $400 if we get 24 committed it will go up to $500 thanks to Oregon Sport Compact Racing Alliance

Cj had his new number 34 hornet out for OSCRA race in Roseburg. Qualified 40 out of an amazing 47 cars with car having some hiccups. Pulled out for the heat race car was cutting in and out for a couple laps then lap 7 lost all throttle and coming out of turn four to the white car lost all power and died turning in to the infield. Pushed to the pit found out fuel pump was not working Greg and Cj tried to get it running before the b main but fuel pump seems to be dead ending our night. We will get it fixed and back on the track.But we had an amazing turn out of 47 4 cylinders 18 races and only one caution for a car that died out. I've been out in the McChutchon fencing SRC Motorsports Neon in the Open 4 cylinder class again this year. I've been having a blast in the class again after getting second in points last year, but with alot more races to go for this year we'll just see how everything pans out .
