The Old Log Resort is on a section of the Muskegon River that is beautiful and sandy, ideally suited for families and groups. The river winds through miles of state forest with many places to stop. It is especially quiet on weekdays when eagles and deer are often sighted.

16.19 Feet vs. Old Log 🌊

On April 17th, the Muskegon River hit a record-shattering 16.19 feet. 6 feet higher than the seawall for perspective. It was a historic threat that could have taken the resort—but we didn't let it.

Since the water crested, the work has been unrelenting. We’ve pumped millions of gallons of water and worked around the clock to reclaim our grounds. Without that massive, exhausting effort from our family and friends, we wouldn't be standing here today.

Old Log is sturdy, but it was grit that saved it. We are officially back on our feet and ready for the season.

The pumps are off, the river is calm, and we can’t wait to see you all back at the resort! ❤️🪵
