Hello Titan Nation. I wanted to announce that I will not be returning to McDowell next year. I have a few things I would to say as I leave. First of all, I want to say “thank you”! Thank you to every person that has wrestled for me over the past 6 years. I am so grateful for your grit, determination and dedication to this sport that we love! Thank you for being there when I needed you the most! Being the Head Wrestling Coach at McDowell High school has meant the world to me. I have experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows. I have screamed and jumped for joy and I have yelled and cried in defeat. Again I say thank you! I was able to fulfill several dreams I had, coaching a state champion, being conference team champions and being coach of the year. All of that is thanks to the athletes I have had in the room and the assistant coaches that helped me! I am a blessed man. I want you all to know that even though I will not be at McDowell next year, I will always be a Titan and I will always be pulling for you guys no matter what! I can’t wait to see all of you progress on and off the mat! I love you guys! -Coach Chad Davis
