Below you will find the tryout dates and times for the Pride Volleyball 2021-2022 USAV Season. I have also included the info from the Iowa Region concerning tryouts. Please note: All summer commitment offers will expire on August 8th. In previous years, only offers to current club members expired early.
Pride Volleyball Tryout times and dates:
Saturday, July 31st (this is an early tryout and commitment date)

Our teams may be filled before the October/November tryout dates.
As the 2021-2022 season is about to begin, here are a few reminders and updates for the upcoming season.
1. NO offers can be made before July 5th. Starting July 6th tryouts and offers may proceed.
2. NEW this season. All summer commitment offers will expire on August 8th. Previously, only offers to current club members expired early.
a. (All Ages) – Early Signing Period (August 8, 2021)
i. The deadline for this date will be 11:59pm the day before Iowa Girls High School practice begins.
ii. The club may reoffer, but the new deadline will be the fall commitment dates.
iii. Once the offer is made, the club must hold that position available for the player, until the above deadline.
b. After August 8th, the 14U and younger deadline is 11:59pm on November 2nd and the 15U and older deadline is 11:59pm on November 9th.
3. Coaches that are 18 Years old and still in High School can be a Head Coach for teams 14U and younger. A Rostered Adult must be with them at all times. This includes meetings, practices and tournaments. If the rostered adult is not with them the team should not be practicing or playing in events.
4. The Region will no longer have the affiliated club option. (QC affiliated clubs for example) Clubs will need to operate on their own or sub-club with other clubs. This change will only affect a few clubs. If you have any questions, please contact us.
5. USAV has changed the background check policy. Background checks will be purchased every season. The cost will be $14. The previous policy had background checks purchased two years in advance ($30). Individuals that purchased a background screen in the 2020-2021 season will not be charged for the 2021-2022 season.
6. Referee and Scorer certifications will need to be renewed in the new season. The courses will be automatically loaded into the members academy when the courses are available.
7. Memberships will expire on August 31st. All members will need to renew their membership or purchase a tryout membership for any activity starting September 1st.
