5 years ago, we started a journey with this team. Ten year olds that were full of life and the love of softball but some lacked confidence…some lacked ability…some lacked strength. Over the years, most every girl coached gained something. Some gained confidence, some ability and some strength. Most gained all three simultaneously!
But what we all gained together was a friendship, a fellowship, and a family! Built with love and trust and togetherness. Every girl ever coached was special and every family will always hold a special place in our hearts and our lives.
As all of our girls grow up, please know that we are rooting them on along the way. One day this softball team, built over the years, will be a memory, but I hope it is one that is fondly remembered in your softball journey.
Remember always, integrity and doing what is right is the building block of character and character will take you farther than any talent or ability in life.
As we close this chapter, I want to thank the all the girls, coaches, parents, supporters and helpers along the way that made it all happen. We love you all and we hope to see you around wherever life takes you.
