FRC #4779 RoboSapiens The RoboSapiens is a student run FIRST Robotics competition team. We were started in 2012.

Wonderful job to our team today representing at the Immaculate Conception Parish Festival! The team was onsite for many hours to share their love of robotics and did a great on stage presentation too! The little ones of the parish really loved getting to interact with the robot!

Reminder to come out and support our team next weekend!

Please join  #4779 The RoboSapiens, as well as some of our other Blue Water Area Robotics Association (BWARA) teams, at the Immaculate Conception Parish Festival! There are going to be so many fun things to do throughout the weekend!

Our team will be present on Saturday, August 1st, from about Noon-5pm, with an onstage demonstration from 3-4pm.

Our team is excited to promote Robotics with the parish K-8 children. Come check out our setup and see our 2026 competition robot driving around. The children may even have a chance to run the robot themselves!

Our 2026 season has sadly come to an end. We will not be playing in the finals for the State competition, so we are all done for the year. It’s been a wild ride! We successfully landed our first Blue Banner district event win in 9 years - what a thrill!

Thank you to all of our beloved mentors, parents, alumni, and our FOUR students for an amazing season!!! We are so proud of what we achieved and we sure did have some fun too!

Now we begin planning and fundraising efforts for next year! A special thank you to our sponsors as well!!!! We couldn’t do this without you all!

This just in… We’re assigned to the Hemlock SemiConductor field at the Michigan State Championship! We are very excited to see some wonderful teams and friends on the field with us!

As we are working through our last full day of prep and practice before the Michigan State’s competition next week, we realized we have not yet officially introduced, Robo-Rex… our team mascot!
