Here We GO!! Kahanamoku Klassic 2025 hosted by Marina Outrigger is Saturday, June 7th at Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey! Come down and check it out. We’ll host a raffle and silent auction, and sell race merchandise, and coffee, breakfast & lunch! We are a zero waste race, so please bring your reusable plates, cups and silverware!
Mother’s Beach will be THE place to be on Saturday! Check out the beer and wine mixer on the lawn at Jamaica Bay! (time TBD) Stay the weekend with the Paddler Discount at Jamaica Bay. (Link in Bio)

Fun little battles throughout the Lanakila Classic race between fellow teammates as well as other competitors! Marina had a total of 17 paddlers racing with awesome performances by all!

Shout outs to our Masters and Sr Masters men who always remind us that they’re not just fast for their divisions, they’re fast, period. Their consistency in training and racing throughout the winter sets them up for success during OC6 season. It’ll be exciting to see how big boat season shapes up for all of Marina!

We had another beautiful day for a race on Saturday’s Hal Rosoff at NAC. It was a hard 11 mile race with paddlers fighting against heavy outgoing current in the second half. We had 24 Marina paddlers total, four OC2s all of which placed, and lots of other placements as well. Go Marina!

New Paddler Novice Season Opener

Come early and ready to get on the water!
There will be a limited 2-week window for novice paddlers to join.

We are offering an early start to our competitive racing season starting in February.
All new paddlers and new Winter paddlers are welcome!

Novice Women will start on Saturday, February 1st at 8:00 am
Novice Men will start on Sunday, February 2nd at 8:00 am

​​We offer Team Led Coaching with focus on technique, skill building and all inclusive learning of club history, canoes, language, culture, and the art of Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Paddling.

Our Novice Program is designed to teach, train and recruit brand new paddlers to join the upcoming
Competitive Racing Season beginning March 2025.​
