June 8th come hear Speaker World Cruiser Lila Shaked on what began as a sail from California to Hawaii turned into 12 years and logging over 20,000-miles in the Pacific sailing to Kiribati (twice), Tonga (three times), American Samoa, New Zealand (twice) , Fiji, Wallis, and French Polynesia. She has plenty of stories about passage planning, weather, offshore tech (and lack of it), daily life underway, raising a family on a boat, the strange experience of returning to shore life after years of cruising, and the beginning of a journey to become her own skipper. And also enjoy meditation cuisine. All are welcomed and free to attend.
