SUP is more than just a great form of exercise (intense core workout), it's also about experiencing and sharing the ocean. SUP clears the mind and brings peace to the soul. In addition, it is an excellent form of meditation…an escape at your finger tips, or in this case your toe tips. For the novices, SUP can be intimidating -- boards are expensive, difficult to store and cumbersome to transport.

We aim to make it fun and stress free for all. Let us do all the work from storing to cleaning, more time for you to enjoy. We are here to help you feel comfortable and confident while enjoying the ocean and getting a chance to SUP with Mother Nature. Our goal is to share our love and passion for the ocean with the world. Our founder, Mike Vaughan, a Santa Monica native, was a recognized pioneer in the Santa Monica Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) community. In 2005, the Pro SUP Shop was formed with a mission to introduce the sport to all walks of life, from 7 to 70, SUP is a sport everyone can enjoy and benefit from. You have one last dog event to catch at Mother’s Beach this year, and this one comes with paddleboards, puppy yoga, and the possibility of meeting your future best friend. 🐶

On Saturday, September 12, Karma’s Paddle for Pups brings a full day of four-legged festivities to Marina del Rey:

🐾 Guided paddleboard and kayak outings at 11 AM and noon
🧘 Puppy yoga
🎶 Live music and food
🛍️ Local vendors, a silent auction, and raffle
🏡 Dog adoptions throughout the day

Bring your pup or come dog-free. There will be plenty of four-legged company either way.

The day supports the lifesaving work of Pups Without Borders, helping more dogs travel from uncertain beginnings toward safe homes and waiting arms.
