Another coaching staff addition who is a friendly face of PFP and the East Cobb community … welcome to Coach Morgan Herman!

Morgan graduated from Pope in 2021, competing for the Hounds from fall 2017-2020. Her influential leadership on the field served as a role model to those around her, and her coaching influence is following in the exact same steps.

Upon graduation, Morgan attended Union University, graduating with a degree in teaching and learning. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Early Childhood Education through Kennesaw State University.

Morgan has been influential in the East Cobb community, serving as a teacher at Tritt Elementary in 2025 and beginning her tenure at Davis Elementary this school year as a 3rd grade teacher.

Morgan will be our Head JV coach and work primarily with pitchers…a big welcome back to the !

As we jump back into the season, we want to give a warm welcome to a familiar face and PFP legend — Coach Zoe Laneaux will be a huge asset to the program this fall!

Zoe graduated from Pope in 2020 after a stellar playing career … being named GADC Player of the Year in 2018 and being named to the GACA All State Team 3 years.

She continued her softball path at University of South Carolina where she played for Coach Beverly Smith and spent time at the hot corner and as a lefty power threat in the line up … Zoe can be found on SportsCenter Top 10 Plays highlight reel not once but twice from her time at USC.

Zoe will work primarily with hitters and infielders this season and is an incredible addition to our coaching staff. Zoe serves as a parapro at Pitner Elementary as a valuable part of the Cobb County School District staff!

Our PFP Families are what make this place special!

Awesome night kicking off our 2026 season at the 1st Pitch Dinner. We had an amazing spread of food and a great kick off to the 2026 seasons with our 5th graders all the way to our seniors … thank you booster club and families for such a great night…bring on the official 1st pitch!
