The Nedrow Sportsmen's Club originated in the late 1950's when Rudy Bistrovich and a group of friends were looking for a place where they could hunt, target practice, hang out, or even take friends or family for a picnic. They group purchased the 26 acre plot of land which is the site of today's Nedrow Sportsmen's Club. Over time, a small building where the friends could meet was added. More famil
y members and friends were added to the number of people who called themselves "club members". In the 1960's the original group incorporated itself as the Nedrow Rod and Gun Club (later changed to the Nedrow Sportsmen's Club), added a constitution and began accepting paying members. As more time passed, a barbecue pit was added, followed by subsequent expansions of the original meeting building. The area where the small group of friends used to target practice was changed to a gun range which was recently upgraded to meet modern, NRA approved standards. We have a club member meeting every month. We also have a Board of Directors and Club officers.
